Source Sportswear (referred to as “Source Sportswear”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to it. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, share, retain, transfer and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the
Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), and all other applicable laws.
By using our Website or Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
“Authority” means any regulatory body with jurisdiction, including the Information Regulator established under POPIA or a court of competent jurisdiction.
“Data Subject” means the person to whom personal information relates.
“Information Regulator” means the regulator established under section 39 of POPIA.
“Operator” means a third party who processes personal information on behalf of Source Sportswear in terms of a mandate or contract.
“Personal Information” means information as defined in POPIA, relating to an identifiable living natural person or juristic person, including but not limited to identity details, contact details, payment information, and online identifiers.
“Processing” includes collection, receipt, recording, organisation, storage, updating, retrieval, distribution, erasure, destruction or use of Personal Information.
“Responsible Party” means Source Sportswear, which determines the purpose and means of Processing Personal Information.
“Special Personal Information” means information relating to race, health, biometric information, or criminal history, as defined in POPIA.
Interpretation: headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation; singular includes plural; “including” means “including without limitation”; references to legislation include amendments and re-enactments.
This Policy applies to all Personal Information collected by Source Sportswear from customers, Users of our Website, newsletter subscribers, and any other individual interacting with our Services.
This Policy does not cover Personal Information relating to our employees, which is regulated under internal employment policies.

Order and transaction records: at least 5 years (per tax and financial legislation).
Marketing data: until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.
Cookies and analytics data: typically up to 12 months.
Customer accounts: until deactivation plus a reasonable archival period.
After expiry of these periods, information will be securely destroyed or anonymised
Right of access: to request confirmation and a copy of your Personal Information.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in relation to this Policy shall be referred to confidential mediation, failing which to binding arbitration in Johannesburg under the AFSA Rules.
