Source Sportswear – Refund and Exchange Policy

Source Sportswear is committed to compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (ECTA). This Policy sets out the basis on which refunds and exchanges are permitted for Orders placed on our

1. Definitions and Interpretation
“Business Day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in South Africa.
“Order” means a confirmed purchase of Products on the Source Sportswear Website.
“Products” means all sportswear, apparel, footwear, and accessories offered for sale.
“Store Voucher” means a non-transferable voucher redeemable against future purchases, valid for 12 months.
“Website” means the Source Sportswear online store.
Interpretation: headings are for convenience only; singular includes plural; “including” means “including without limitation”; references to statutes include amendments and re-enactments.
2. General Principles
Source Sportswear does not provide cash refunds, except where required by law or compelled by a relevant Authority.
All refunds are settled by way of exchange for the correct size or issue of a Store Voucher.
Shipping fees and handling charges are non-refundable.
3. Exchanges
Exchanges are permitted only for incorrect size.
Exchanges are subject to:
• The Product being returned in original, unworn condition with tags and packaging intact; and
• Stock availability of the requested size.
If the requested size is unavailable, a Store Voucher will be issued. No exchanges are permitted for colour dissatisfaction or change of style.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Products showing signs of wear or use;
Products carrying odour of smoke or body odour;
Products damaged in the wash;
Products returned in poor condition (removed from packaging, crumpled, or dishevelled);
Clearance or sale items, unless defective under the CPA.
5. Refund Mechanism
All refunds will be made in the form of a Store Voucher, valid for 12 months from date of issue.
Store Vouchers are non-transferable, may not be exchanged for cash, and must be used in full within the validity period.
Cash refunds will only be processed if legally required by an Authority such as the National Consumer Commission or a court.
6. Process for Requesting Refund or Exchange
To request an exchange or refund, email info@sourcesportswear.com within 7 Business Days of receipt of the Order. You must provide:
• Your Order number;
• A description of the Product(s) you wish to return; and
• Reason for the request.
Source Sportswear will provide a return reference and instructions. Requests without a return
reference may be rejected.
7. Condition of Returned Products
Products must be returned in a saleable condition, with original packaging and tags attached.
Products that do not meet these standards will be refused, and the customer may be charged courier costs for re-delivery.
8. Delivery and Courier Costs
Unless the Product is defective or incorrect, you are responsible for courier costs of returning the Product.
If Source Sportswear provides a prepaid label, the courier fee may be deducted from the Store Voucher amount.
9. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA, including the 7-day cooling-off period for electronic transactions.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
